Our revolutionary products have spurred transformative changes in the industry and have aided in improving the lives of millions across the globe. It is our ability to engineer relevant state-of-the-art solutions to address everyday challenges in hand protection that ensures our sustained growth.
Prevent the spread of infection with the world's first non-leaching antimicrobial gloves - AMG. Containing a photosensitiser that activates in the presence of light and air, AMG can eradicate a wide range of microbes, effectively and rapidly, up to a 5-log kill (99.999%).
Glove users who suffer from dryness or irritation from frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitisers can now rely on COATS. This patented technology incorporates a clinically proven skin protectant that moisturises your hands and prevents skin irritation.
FindMe Metal Detectable Gloves are embedded with magnetite. When used together with a metal detector mechanism, it helps detect glove fragments that may have ended up in food products, allowing food manufacturers to prevent product contamination, ensuring the safety of their consumers.
BDG technology provides an end-of-life solution to nitrile gloves, without compromising shelf life. The gloves contain an organic additive which makes it a desirable food source to microbes in landfills. The gloves will break down naturally, leaving behind only biogas, water and inert soil.
With a polyurethane inner coating, these gloves marry functionality and comfort. They also reduce stickiness, rigidity and the unpleasant odour you get from wearing other latex gloves. Marking one of our very first achievements in product R&D, these gloves provide a powder-free surface finish without the use of traditional off-line chlorination, which harms the environment.
With our ground-breaking move to bring together elasticity, comfort and cost-friendliness in a nitrile glove, we prompted the industry to enter a new era in 2002 when we created the first soft, stretchy nitrile gloves. These gloves emulate the feel of natural rubber gloves, which was a departure from traditional nitrile gloves that were hard and uncomfortable.
In 2005, we improved the elasticity and comfort of nitrile gloves. Unlike regular nitrile gloves that easily loosen and relax after wear, our gloves provide a skin-tight fit for an extended period. We were also able to deliver a cost-efficient solution to customers worldwide as our innovation was outside the Tillotson Patent at that time.
In 2005, we became the first in the world to create a glove so thin, it weighed a mere 4.7 grams – by 2007 we surpassed ourselves and reduced it further to 3.7 grams. These gloves delivered tactile sensitivity and comfort, while preserving high durability. These unrivalled qualities and its protein allergen-free attribute, triggered hospitals across the USA and Europe to switch from natural rubber gloves to the new thin gauge Nitrile gloves.
Exposure to fentanyl is a serious concern, given that it is a deadly yet odourless and hard to detect opioid. Just 2 milligrams of fentanyl (the equivalent of 4 grains of salt) can kill the average adult. Those most exposed to fentanyl in their line of work are those involved in law enforcement, investigation and evidence handling, special operations and decontamination, as well as first responder paramedics. With our product, glove permeation resistance lasts at least 240 minutes – a crucial length of time that could save someone's life.
These gloves are the solution to allergies often associated with natural rubber gloves, specifically, hypersensitive reaction to either the protein present in natural rubber (type I), or the chemical residues from the manufacturing process (type IV). 90% of type IV reactions are due to vulcanisation accelerators present in regular gloves. With MGEN-2 technology, we can eliminate the use of sulphur that is commonly used as a vulcanising agent, providing an accelerator-free solution instead. Now, there is a glove option for all.
